Re Operation Ore

Hi Phantom

Like your name, why didn't I think of that?
Am sending to agree with you that Operation Ore is nothing to do with us and
we should point out through our lawyer that so called extreme porn does not
involve any criminal activity like child porn.
Maybe everyone knows that those investigated via Ore were customers of a
couple who received over 1000 year sentences in the land of the free! Police
took over the site and helped themselves to all the credit card numbers. They
won't be able to do that for every site so that any operation against us
would not be so easy.

As for Ore blowing up in their face I think the police are content with the
way it is going.
My information is they come to the house and check your computer first and
presumably if they find nothing they bugger off. Now it must be easy to
decide if what they see is child porn, at least in most cases. How different and
difficult would it be to decide what was extreme porn.
Seems with Ore the police have issued cautions to quite a few little
wankers! Mean this description quite literally, "Is it just for your own use?"
Those more into it or publishing get done and I wonder if it is just at the
discretion of the junior investigating officers?

If the law passes we could always buy a new computer, bin the old one, and
let them check a virgin PC!

Troulble is Deno,in demonizing adult material one of the main weapons has been ridiculous child porn comparisons.

But all "ore" can help with it would appear is as an example of the disasters that can meet law enforcement which chases cyber "crime" without due care. Not an unimportant lesson for these oppressors to get into their heads. For with this new cac from NL,the situation is made worse by a huge degree, because of the ambiguity built into it. A point I have made often is this is simply not acceptable-you MUST be clear,if not it is another "incompatibility" factor in a human rights indictment.
