Letter to Martin 'Salt of the Earth'

There is Parliamentary standards office who are presumably responsible for rules of conduct for MP's. I think Vernon Coaker's interview has gone to them in some form as the basis of a complaint. Here is what we have seemingly governing the rules of conduct of MP's which seems might fit with falsehood peddling.

"Members shall at all times conduct themselves in a manner which will tend to maintain and strengthen the public's trust and confidence in the integrity of Parliament and never undertake any action which would bring the House of Commons, or its Members generally, into disrepute."

-from the Parliament code of conduct section 5 subsection 15

Well telling lies to the public seems to be covered here-that sure brings Parliament into "disrepute". What Salter has done is made a serious allegation about an American company breaking the law in a big way. I wonder if they know he has done this. Further,if this is happening and he has not reported it to the US authorities,it seems he might have he has committed an offense-. Having the knowledge of a serious crime and failing to report it. It appears to me the police should probably know Mr Salter has made public statements that a major crime is going on in the US and should see if he has told the US authorities.
Will the local police be interested enough to question him about it I wonder.
