Consultation Out, Story on Boing Boing

In case anyone missed it, the Consultation came out today. You can read it
here:

There's been coverage in a lot of places, some of it quite inaccurate. If
you happen across some they'll occasionally be willing to correct it.

This piece originally stated that "As of today" possession of the material
in question was illegal, but it's now corrected, there's a short note about
how legislation works in the UK, and there's a link to the backlash page.

I'll be writing to my MP/MSPs in due course, but first I'm off to get some
sleep.

I'm confused, this is the third message posted on the site today that looks like it was written on the 30th - is this another smartgroups bug?

I guess it's heartening in a way, because a lot more people might be trying to post who haven't got through yet?

No, it's just smartgroups' handling of messages sent to it via e-mail is
sometimes as quick as a snail on valium.

I've posted messages that have taken almost a fortnight to appear.

Things seemed to be working better, but I wouldn't be surprised if
they've buggered up again.

Cheers,
Graham.
