TV complaints

sorry - complaints concerning BBC programs should go here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/make_complaint_step1.shtml
as the BBC is not regulated by Ofcom in such matters.

This evenings South Today program contained a news article concerning new Government plans to criminalise the posession of extreme pornography. I do not believe that this article presented a balanced view of this matter of political controversy. In Sally Taylor's interview with Elizebeth Longhurst no real attempt was made to discuss any counter arguments or even mention the fact that this actualy is a matter of political controversy. Ms Longhurst's views were simply taken as fact. I would point out that the majority of responses to the Government's recent public consultation on this matter were against any changes to the law. And I would have expected the BBC to present a more balanced view on this difficult issue.

It was also on the North West regional news too. Though just as an off-hand 'one-liner'.
It went sort of like:-
"It is soon to be announced that possession of extreme or violent pornography will be punishable by 3 year prison terms, after a succesful campaign by Mrs Longhurst"
Oh, so it IS DEFINATELY GOING to be passed as a new law then after all, eh?
Ah! It's no longer UP TO 3 years, but DEFINATELY 3 YEARS SOLID... come on Home Office why not make it life? We all know you authoritarian wankers want to!
And Mrs Adolf-Benito-Mao-Saddam-Kim-il-Idi-Amin-Noreago-Gadaffi Longhurst's ultra fascist campaign is a glowing unrelenting success eh?
God I hate the BBC!
What I want to know is what has suddenly triggered this off, out of the blue!
Even The Daily 'Hang-all-Deviants' Mail has not printed a single word as far as I know! And it was, in my belief, that excrement smeared rag that was one of the major forces behind getting the Home Office to even consider criminalising extreme porn in the first!

It's ok - didn't take long to answer my own question...
the total fascist bastards... then again in THIS shit-pot country could we really have even expected anything else?
So how long we all got to burn our hard-drives then?

I get the "Mail" every day-I have never seen anything advocating this in it-I put the blame where it must rest-on Anthony Bliar's regime for caving in to mad special interset groups-of course there's nothing they like better than banning and criminalizing things. However I would be shocked if the "Mail" doesn't give this fascist tripe the thumbs up.

That's easy to explain: there have been rumours in the ranks of Blair's
Barmy Army of poltroon politicians that he might not, after all, be
declared President for Life. Indeed, there are some who would like to
see him depart to spent more time with his ego sooner rather than later.

Well the "Mail" haven't given it the thumbs up at all-in fact they had a big article by Tom Utley on the editorial page totally condemning it! In all the reception has been very cool indeed.

After the Hutton Report, does El Presidente allow them to do that?

To be honest, I was expecting this sort of response from The Mail for
two reasons:
1. They hate this (apparently) socialist government; and
2. They're Facist in the true definition of the word, not the version
bandied about by a few people on here. Making laws that don't work
weakens the legal system and is thus against facist principles. A
strong state has a strong legal system.

Has anyone who complained to the Beeb's about their coverage heard anything back yet? What about the issue of Croaker's interview on R4? I haven't had any reply whatsoever...
