proved impossible to replicate and has pretty much been disowned by
Donnerstein as well as others in the scientific community.

Please note that the stuff quoted below is UTTER BULLSHIT and has even, I
think, been repudiated by Donnerstein.
About 15 years ago I did a workshop for a lot of students on pornography
and decided to teach them by utilising those definitions. So I gave them 10
pictures and asked them to divide them into three piles according to the
definitions given below.
NoteA - three of the pictures were fashion photography, not deisngated
pornography by their producers/publishers
The students produced a mixture of categorisations. I then asked them about
one picture that all had described as "violent" pornography, if they
thought the image should be banned.
"I don't think it's up to me to say it should be banned" said one student'
"WHo do you think it's up to, to ban it?" I asked, and a thoughtful silence
descended.
