Is anyone willing to volunteer to draw up a spreadsheet of MP's
comemnts so far and co-ordinate secondary approaches?

You will need to co-ordinate with Amelie and Silver and then do a
layout that shows where there has been a positive response, where there has
been deep opposition to our cause etc....

I need help summarising the responses published on the Scottish executive site. Probably just need a one or two liner for each, describing who wrote it, whether they're pro or against laws and anything else significant.

We also need to contact the Home Office and get copies of submissions
in the UK.

and we need summaries made of all the submissions by our supporters.

All this will then go on the website. Its probably a job for a few
people...

I am willing to do work on either of these projects, whichever is of the greatest need/has fewest volunteers.

As regards the summarising of responses, I actually made a start on this when I first downloaded them, but have lost those notes so would have to go back over them. I still have them filed by "pro" or "anti" and by the types of organisation or whether they are individuals' responses, which will make the job a bit quicker and easier.

It occurs to me that dfferent people might summarise the same thing in different ways, so maybe if several people are going to be working on this, some sort of shorthand phrases might be useful, worked out beforehand?

Regarding the spreadsheet/database, how much information, and of what kind, needs to be stored? Would the dates of all correspondence need to be recorded, or just latest sent/latest received? Just trying to think through any practical issues there may be in setting it up.

1)Teddy has done a summary of Scotishes repsones. I have access to many other responses that need summarising.

2) As for the spread sheet, this needss omeone to check with amelie silver who was cobntacted and what they said.

It then needs someone to put this on a spreadsheet and then to co-ordinate follow up letters from our membership who are constituents and then to try and find people who are willing to go to appointments at the MP surgeries.

at eaxh staGE OF THIS PROCESS WE NEED ALL THE RESPONSES ADDED TO THE SPREADSHEET SO WE CAN SEE WHERE HOLES NEED TO BE PLUGGED, WHERE WE ARE HAVING SOME SUCCESS, ETC.

I don't mind doing a bit of leg work in writing to MP's. (prining, addressing and posting) If anyone wants a hand. I can cope with a few dozen to perhaps a hundred, although unfortunately I can't organise it myself at the moment.
