Article 7

I just read this on the backlash website...

I hope the advocates of these proposals are thoroughly proud of the distress they have already caused to fellow citizens; to speak nothing of what may follow!
I think one key aspect of any grubby compromises which may have to be considered is that any retrospective-acting legislation would be totally unacceptable. I know the Spanner Trust have already stated they would seek a declaration in the high court regarding article 7 of the ECHR, which covers this issue.

Hello
The letter this link leads to sums up my fears also. I do like erotic horror ie execution and other fantasies with and without nudity. I stand ready though reluctant to destroy my collection of material because I cannot risk shattering my family. I am a normal enough married bloke with well adjusted children and a loving home. Do the moral zealots in the home office want to condemn me to social hell? It seems so! I feel horribly persecuted.
What the hell is going on in Britain these days?
Yours despondantly
Alan
