Consultation responses are public documents unless the senders have
asked them to be confidential - the easiest way to build an archive
would be to ask the Home Office to email you them. You are also entitled
to go visit all the hard copies in the library if you give 24 or 48
hours notice. They may charge costs for photocopies.

It's been wonderful to read the response submissions I've seen so far, all individual but with many key points a commonality.

Have sent my personal one in to Dem Red and will get a copy of the offical SFC one sent as soon as it's trancribed in a finished digital format for posting.

You/they are quite welcome to use my ramblings if you so wish (basic authorship copyrights apply as with all such documents). You can find it in Files in the imaginatively titled Laurences folder.

Kind regards

Laurence

Thanks to all for permissions. We converted a few documents to html,
mainly to make sure that personal details were removed when required
but I think the best thing to do now is for us to link to all the
submissions in the Smartgroup Files area. As the group messages are
public everybody should be able to read them. I think we can assume
that posting to the public Smartgroup implies permission to post to
the website anyway.

If you've sent a submission as a posting to the group (i.e. not as a
file in the Vault), I'd appreciate it if you'd send me a mail
identifying it, i.e. subject, author, date. We should be able to link
to these in just the same way.
