Fw: response to consultation: On Possession of Extreme pornographic Material
Amelie, 16 Nov 2005 12:13:11
this response acknowledgement is given no number, neither was silver's. So
where did someone get the figure 30 from ? I personally know of 10 to date
and have been promised several more in the next 2 weeks. I continue to push
them.
silver has also sent this email to the surgeries of all MPs whose names
begin with "A" except the Scots..

So you'll be number 30.
As will the tenth person after you, and the hundredth...

I was response number 30 from the Scottish Executive.

well, they seem to have stopped giving numbers - am I paranoid to think they
don't want to admit how much real response there has been? Amelie

Perhaps they only had three people keeping count of the responses and it
would be a breach of their contracts of employment to require them to
remove their shoes and socks so they could also count on their toes?
The 'consultation exercise' over the damn-fool ID card scheme brought in
a lot of comments against wasting taxpayers' money on something that
will not improve the 'security' of the UK at all, yet the 'government'
has still insisted on pressing ahead with it. Perhaps they *have*
learned and have now decided it would be better to conceal the truth
than subsequently to lie about it?
