I have contacted Tom Robinson asking him to support
our campaign, and asking permission to use the
alternative lyrics for "Glad to be Gay" that someone
posted here (I can't for the moment recall whose work
they were).
Sadly, Tom Robinson has declined to become involved in
our campaign (which is understandable).
However, the reply from his management company does
say "he has no
objection to your use of his song and to the
alternative lyrics you suggest"
So, if somebody can put together a performance and/or
a recording using the new lyrics, we can use them with
no qualms.

The person who wrote the new lyrics was me.
I can probably sing it, but I don't have the recording equipment.
Nor can I be anywhere - like on stage at the Whiparound - if
there may be flashbulbs, unfortunately.
