It's back!

Yes, it seems the Home Office have finally got over their case of
"Digitatus Impactus" and the Consultation Document is once again
available from their site at:
http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/documents/cons-extreme-porn-300805?view=Binary
Cheers,
Graham.

Q. How many Home Office web designers does it take to change a lightbulb?

Send your responses to:
"Consultation on Light Bulb Replacement Policies..."
* * * * *
You know, this has just made me think of something.
You have to send back your responses to "Consultation on the Possession
of Extreme Pornography", now remember in "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking
Barrels" where they send refund cheques out marked "Arse Tickler's
Faggot Fan Club"...
Ok, I know you can reply online, but I wonder if anyone's going to be
put off writing a letter in reply because they don't want to send it to
"Consultation... Pornography"?
Would it be cynical to suggest that this was deliberate??
Cheers,
Graham.

The online response facility seems to have disappeared and the largest item
in the contents is about pornographic
photos of children, which is also a major heading on page 9 although there
is nothing about children in the material targetted.

Answer three
One to smash, one to stamp on it and one to lock you up in the dark.

The consultation document has been availabel again for a week or more as reported here on another thread, but the missing response form is very irritating. One might almost think that they had recieved rather too many responses of the sort that they didn't want and were trying to prevent too many more from appearing.
I thought I waould ask them directly:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am intending to respond to the Home Office consultation concerning extreme pornography, so please can you tell me what has happened to the online response form that was available several weeks ago?
I would also be interested to know why the consultation document itself has been missing from the site for extended periods during the time when it was supposed to be available for public comment.

Having now discussed this issue with some parliamentarians....is anyone ...or any assemblage of people....able to put together a diary of when it has not been available?

Perhaps more to the point, can anyone explain why the document seems not
to have been deposited as a research paper in the Commons Library?

As for that 10 minute rule bill, it seems to have vanished without
trace: http://snipurl.com/jnvd

As for that 10 minute rule bill, it seems to have vanished without
trace: http://snipurl.com/jnvd
Update: it hasn't -- it just wasn't listed where it should have been.
I've since looked on PIMS (Parliamentary Information Management Service)
at http://bills.parliament.uk/AC.asp and found it:
Control of Internet Access (Child Pornography) Bill 2005-06
26/10/2005 Bill 67 2005-06 Control of Internet Access (Child
Pornography) Bill.
26/10/2005 438 c319-21 Control of Internet Access (Child
Pornography) Bill. Motion for leave to
introduce a bill. Agreed to on question.
Presentation and first reading (Bill 67
2005-06). To be read a second time
12 May 2006.
Mind you, that still doesn't mean it stands much chance of ever becoming
law. With the second reading only a six weeks or so before the summer
recess and the Committee and Lords stages to be crammed in at a time
when the 'government' will be trying to shove through its own bills,
Moran's moronic mess will probably be squeezed out of the schedule.

The "consultation document", of course!
