Lobbying Guidelines

As promised, I have written up some of these. Actually a rather extensive document that has been circulated amongst some members of the campaign for comment.
I am hoping (dem? adrian?) that someone can stick it up on a site somewhere where people can access it publically. It is not perfect - and may be a bit scary if all you want to do is write to your MP....but should be helpful for others.
What else? Comments and additions very welcome. If you take issue with anything in it, talk to me. If you want a copy directly, write to me via manniq@hotmail.com
What else else? av8r is right about having video resource available. Until then, would anyone like a set of powerpoint slides on this proposal and our response? Basically, once you have them, you can add and/or amend to your heart's content - and if you are addressing small gatherings, you can make your point more succinctly with such a set.

anything that can be used as a basis for discussion is very welcome. I will
be having a workshop at home next week for Islanders who are interested in
finding out if it is worth opposing the proposition. Amelie
