Arguments database

I have created a table of arguments for & against proposed law, gleaned from our discussions, which is listed under group Databases.

If people find this a useful tool, please feel free to add notes/links to existing arguments or add new arguments to the list.

I think it is useful and I've added to it. The format allows only a limited number of characters in each box. Is there some other way we can create a running cross referenced argument? Tecchies please advise! Maybe a downloadable word document and use tracking?

I'm thinking about creating something better but don't hold your
breath. Use the best tools you have right now and we can always
migrate the data to something better if/when it becomes available.

I may be in a minority of one here, but not everyone in the world has
Microsoft Word, including me.

I have just added half a dozen or ao arguments 'for' all gleened directly from the consultation document itself.

three others are already present in some form so I didn't both with:

"most people would find this material abhorent and there is considerable public concern"

"to try to break the supply and demand cycle and discourage interest in this material"

"to protect society particularly children from exposure"

I would suggest that as these 10 or so arguments are presented in the consultation document itself that they should be the prime targets for response.

Minority maybe,but it's bigger than one - I don't have word
either and can't pick up word files.
