Just say 'NO' - Option 4 : no new law

shameless extract from a post of my own on another site :
The actual documents, proposal and response form, can be found at http://www.homeoffice.gov.uk/inside/consults/index.html
I also found a the government Code of Practice on Consultations http://www.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/regulation/consultation/documents/pdf/code.pdf
Following up an anonymous response idea; I am drafting an email to ask just HOW the government propose to deal with the responses, and, specifically, what will happen if they are anonymous. I will post the email/reply on the 'Official Info' thread and/or provide a link on here.
There is a great deal of debate about this/that bit is OK to make illegal, but not this other bit, and if I get a nice warm comfortable feeling about it's only about REAL bad stuff, then I don't need to do anything ...... Hmmm ......
~ and a sad reflection on our society that people should be afraid to give an opinion on emotive subjects.
People who are repulsed by imagery available on the internet don't look at it. Many are simply not interested. I don't believe we need a new law making it illegal to make your own decision about what is/not repulsive or abhorrent. Imagery of REAL rape/torture/etc will continue to be legal under these proposals. It will exercise the same sick fascination for the same sick people who commit crimes. Those people will commit those crimes whatever they look at.
'Just say NO'??? Tick the Option 4 box.
