Tonight's best-ever CSI vote

I find myself encouraged that the episode of CSI just shown on Five, voted as the best-ever by the viewers, was 'Lady Heather's Box', one of two episodes that featured a life-style pro-domme in a sympathetic way. She's portrayed as polite, cultured and intelligent, her dungeon is shown to be run responsibly, and the murderer turns out to be one of the submissives, not a slavering, out-of-control dominant. Sample dialogue:

Gil Grissom: "But he chose a woman who didn't understand the dynamics of a dominant-submissive relationship..."

Lady Heather: "Unfortunately the language we speak in here doesn't necessarily translate to the world out there."

Grissom: "No, in here the *submissive* has the power - all he has to do is say the safety word and everything stops."

Lady Heather: "Very good, Mr Grissom".

Perhaps more of the public than we think, really do "get it".
