SMPride, the Spanner Trust, Feminists against Censorship, Unfettered, the Sexual Freedom Coalition and SM Dykes South East and London have all already expressed concern about the proposed legislation.

A meeting has been called in London for September 9 at 7.30 in Conway Hall in Red Lion Square Holborn.

There are also plans afoot for a meeting in the Midlands while munch oganisers from around the country are also co-ordinating efforts and advising on how to make a submission to the consultation process.

Informed consent, bondage.com and many, many other sites are carrying advice, views, plans for action.

A site specifically designed for people seeking information about the anti-legislation campaign is also being built.

The Liberal Democrats and the Libertarian Alliance have also been vocal about their opposition to the Home Office plans.

Many people have already written to their MPs, their local newspapers, have made submissions and are coming up with other great ideas.

If you want to take part, have suggestions, please say so here. one thing we need to do is a press archive.

If you find any press or website mentions of the proposed legislation please post here.

We also need to start identifying interested parties for and against the proposals. There is no rush with this but if you find out your MP or a community group is actively supporting the campaign or opposing it, let us know.
